What do you like to do when you’re not working? I love spending time with my kids and wife building memories together. We really enjoy the outdoors so, depending on weather and seasons, we go hiking one of the local peaks (Mt Cheam was a total highlight last year), bike riding along the Fraser river, camping or skiing.

What has travelling taught me? It's taught me respect for other cultures and empathy for people. The best thing - it's introduced me to so many amazing people that I still keep in touch with. Some people, that I met 14 years ago in Portugal, I still catch up with in London every time I'm there!
What kinds of things really make me laugh? My niece and nephews make me laugh most often with what they do and say. On the rare occasion that my brothers start to giggle (I mean that is really rare), then I laugh long and hard! I love my family :).
Dillon enjoys the union between marketing and technology. He loves to create work that captures attention. Whether its producing a website or designing an email campaign, translating his interests into value for clients is his passion.
Favourite thing about your job: What I love most about my job is that I am able to do many different things that contribute to one goal. Social media, content creation, front end development; each one of these tasks is unique, which brings diversity to my job, but also allows me to strive for the same goal of helping the client's business grow.
Why do you enjoy rock climbing? Rock climbing is a great because it is both a mental and physical challenge. It helps to stay fit while forcing you to problem solve, plan routes, moves, and maneuvers.
If you had to have a pet: dog or cat? Dog, no question. Dogs offer great companionship and, throughout history, have proven to be a great support to human beings in general. Whether they are herding sheep or helping us to hunt, they are extremely useful and offer utilitarian value. But even if they aren't used for these things, they are awesome to just play with in a park. I can't say that about cats.

What is your favourite way to spend a Saturday?: Saturday is definitely catch-up-on-chores day, but if I could I would rather take my wife and two young daughters to Crescent Beach. We build sand castles, splash around, and end the day with fish and chips and ice cream. Family time is precious!
What fast food restaurant would you work for? McDonalds! I actually worked there when I was in high school and it taught me a lot about listening to the customer, how procedures and routine can produce consistent products, and what the inside of a Grimace costume smells like.

It’s a great feeling when you get to leave work satisfied, knowing that you’re more knowledgeable about the industry than you were the day before. That learning stems from the incredible team at FirstPage and their willingness to invest in people development. The support and encouragement that I feel when I’m at work is unparalleled.

As you have previously owned both a dog and a cat, what other animal would you own? A Grizzly Bear (hear me out).It would have to be one of those unique situations where it was a rescued cub that was incapable of surviving in the wild. Assuming that I had a big enough property and enough time to properly raise it, I would do it in a heartbeat. Believe it or not, there are people out there that have Grizzly Bears. It’s a bit of a stretch, but one can dream.
